Abstract
The Mozi satellite is one of the space projects sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences; its goal is to carry out quantum communication at space scale. Based on recent orbit elements for the Mozi satellite, SPENVIS software will be used to carry out space environment assessments for the Mozi satellite in the coming two years. During the simulations, effects due to trapped proton, trapped electron, solar proton, and cosmic rays are considered. Such characteristic features as Total ionization dose, non-ionization displacement damage, LET spectrum, and atom oxygen are simulated in detail. Simulations have shown that Mozi’s space environment will be acceptable during the coming two years. Such a situation will help to support surplus space experiments in the future.
